Moore – Meg Birch
I am 61 and grew up in Gippsland, Victoria, with a strong sense of family,
church and community. Having trained as a Primary Teacher in Melbourne, I taught a year in Frankston, married, then taught 3 years in PNG where I was a Girl Guide Captain for 2 years. We moved to Perth in 1975.
I’m married to Brian and we are blessed with 7 wonderful children, 13 precious grandchildren and 3 special great-grandchildren! We moved from Woodlands to 4 acres in Wanneroo in 2002, where we are actively involved in our community.
Having served in Pentacostal churches over the years, we now attend our local Anglican church, St. Peter’s, in Wanneroo.
I have taught SRE in 3 schools over 25 years, graduated from Victory Life Bible Training Centre, and Home-Educated our 2 youngest children. Our 19 year old son still lives at home with us.
I love my nation and highly value our Australian Christian heritage. I’m passionate about preserving our Christian values, ethics, freedoms and the sanctity of life. I will stand for a Chaplaincy presence in all schools and continuation of SRE in our Primary schools. Strengthening families makes stable communities, which build a great nation! This is why I’m standing as a candidate for the CDP on 21st. August.
