Prayer

Christian citizens “humbly relying on almighty God” will continue to pray for the government of our nation and  for the needs of our fellow Australians. Regular prayer meetings are being held in WA and around the nation. Contact your local church or the CDP office for further information.

We rejoice and give thanks for:

  • our democratic freedoms to express our views in Australia
  • the willingness of Christian candidates to stand up for Christian values
  • the  teamwork evidenced in Christian organisations such as the CDP
  • Christian lobby groups working tirelessly to inform and encourage people to be discerning about the  issues facing our nation
  • the enthusiasm and commitment of Perth Christians who gathered for the Christian Crisis Meeting on July 26th.

We pray for the needs of

  • the frail and the elderly in our nation and those who care for them
  • those who have lost hope and joy in living
  • parents and growing children dealing with pressures of a ‘toxic’  modern culture that has lost respect for the important things in life
  • husbands and wives in their love and commitment to each other
  • people at work : at home or in the workplace
  • business people and those who deal with the finances of our nation
  • spiritual leaders who encourage others to set priorities right in life and care for others
